Jeffrey M. Mitchell focuses on representing financial institutions. His experience covers a wide range of financial services, banking issues and credit transactions.

Mr. Mitchell's principal emphasis today is the representation of financial institutions in various types of commercial lending and credit activities, including mortgage lending transactions, asset-based financing, acquisition financing, multiple creditor facilities, inter-creditor arrangements, loan restructuring, workouts and liquidations, and in business and other matters, including asset sales, loan portfolio sales and purchase and sale transactions.

He also has significant experience representing and counseling developers, buyers and sellers in credit, real estate and general business matters.

A graduate of Hamilton College, Mr. Mitchell received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1996. He is licensed in both Texas and Virginia.

Mr. Mitchell was named one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40 by D Magazine (2006) and a "Rising Star" by Law & Politics and Texas Monthly Magazines (2006 and 2007). He is also a member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel and Dallas Bar Association.
