Jennifer L. Owen focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, real estate and banking and financial services. Ms. Owen represents commercial landlords in the enforcement of shopping center, industrial and office leases, and represents multi-family owners, developers and managers in a broad range of residential landlord/tenant issues including drafting leases and rental criteria, evictions, fair housing, code enforcement, vendor disputes and premises liability. Her banking practice includes loan work-outs and collection litigation, claims involving fraud and returned items, deposit operations and treasury management services. Ms. Owen is a founding member of the Legal Services Program of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD) and an author of the "Briefcase" column for the AAGD magazine. In 2006, Ms. Owen was appointed to the Legal Advisory Council of the Texas Apartment Association. Ms. Owen graduated from Washington University School of Law in 1986 and completed a judicial clerkship for the Missouri Court of Appeals.
