April Terry represents businesses in litigation, consistent with their business objectives in a variety of commercial cases, both general and complex. She represents small and large companies, including major Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and telecommunications companies, in state and federal trial and appellate courts, mediations, and arbitrations. Ms. Terry has substantial experience handling general contractual disputes, business tort and fraud claims, corporate fiduciary issues, director and officer liability claims, investor claims, tortious interference claims, quantum meruit claims, defamation claims, competitor claims, covenant not to compete claims, trade secret misappropriation claims, unfair competition claims, construction claims, vendor disputes, business collections and other business claims.

Ms. Terry represents clients in a variety of industries.

Ms. Terry has been repeatedly named a “Texas Rising Star/Super Lawyer” in Texas Monthly Magazine and is a Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America, a national Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. Ms. Terry served as a judicial clerk for the Houston Court of Appeals, 14th District, and was an equity partner at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP where she practiced for thirteen years.

Ms. Terry also helps other lawyers represent their clients by serving as local counsel in commercial litigation matters.
